15.8awg wire springs 2" in diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.

Mattress Border

9.1" deep with four rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Eight horizontal handles on Eastern King and above. Air vents on all sides. Border edges upholstered with coir and lambswool. Finished with piped ticking.

Mattress Upholstery

Upholstered with 3 oz/sq.ft blended lambswool and cotton then 3.9 oz/sq.ft of hand-teased loose long-stranded black horsehair, lambswool and cashmere, enclosed in a hairproof cambric cover and overlaid with a further layer of 3 oz/sq.ft blended lambswool and cotton.
