15.2awg wire springs 2.4" in diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.

Mattress Border

9.1" deep with three rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Eight horizontal handles on Eastern King and above. Air vents on all sizes. Border edges upholstered with coir and lambswool, and finished with piped ticking.

Mattress Upholstery

Upholstered with 3.3 oz/sq.ft bonded lambswool and cotton and then 3.9 oz/sq.ft hand-teased loose long-stranded horsehair blended together with lambswool enclosed in a hairproof cambric cover, and overlaid with a layer of 3.9 oz/sq.ft blended lambswool and cotton.
