This week we hopped into bed with creative directors and photographers Sarah-Louise and Christopher from @the_adventuresofus and @no.17house, to talk about winding down routines, interior design, and lazy mornings.
WHAT MAKES YOUR NO. 17 HOUSE A HOME?
Love, laughter, and spending time there with our friends, family, and our cat Mala.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ROOM AT NO.17?
That’s such a tough one! It’s hard to choose between our kitchen, master bedroom, and bathroom.
WHAT ROOM DO YOU ACTUALLY SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME IN?
Probably our kitchen, it’s the heart of the home and we designed it to be the perfect space for cooking, entertaining, working, and relaxing.

Probably our trips to California which inspired our white oak kitchen and industrial kitchen doors and our trips to Italy which inspired our bathroom and the bold marble in the house.
COULD YOU SHARE YOUR TOP RENOVATION TIP WITH OUR READERS?
Plan everything and stay organized. Choose a really good build team, visit their previous projects and ask for feedback from previous clients.
WHAT DOES YOUR PERFECT WEEKEND LOOK LIKE?
Relaxed mornings, buying fresh flowers and produce, the Formula 1, long hot baths, walks in Kew Gardens, and dinner with friends.
WHAT HELPS YOU TO UNWIND?
A hot bath, a cup of chamomile tea, and our Vispring bed.
DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR GETTING TO SLEEP?
We love a good Lavender pillow spray and cuddles with our cat Mala.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR VISPRING BED?
It feels like sleeping on a cloud, it’s eternally comforting, it cuddles you. We sleep in some amazing beds in hotel rooms around the world, but when we get home we always say our bed is the comfiest of them all.
