20 May 2022
Vispring Luxury Beds Plymouth
Vispring found home in Plymouth in 1970 and since then has been proud to be based in this beautiful part of the UK. Our team is at the heart of what we do, many of us have lived in Plymouth, Devon our whole lives. For the next few weeks, we will be sitting down with them to talk about what Plymouth means to them.

FIRSTLY, TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHAT DO YOU DO AT VISPRING?

I am married with children and grandchildren all of who keep me very busy. I have worked for Vispring for 11 years as a customer service manager. Supporting all aspects of service throughout the business and also supporting operation and sales where required.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN PLYMOUTH?

I have lived in Plymouth all my life.

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO BE BASED IN PLYMOUTH, DEVON. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT LIVING HERE?

What has been your favorite thing about living here for this time? I love Plymouth for the location, where else do you have beautiful coastlines and national parks on your doorstep. We are really spoilt living in mother natures playground.

HOW HAVE YOU SEEN THE CITY CHANGE OVER THESE YEARS?

I have seen the University grow bringing diversity to the city. Plymouth is more recognized now than ever before for tourism and opportunities.

IF SOMEONE WAS VISITING PLYMOUTH FOR ONE DAY, WHERE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THAT THEY MUST VISIT/SEE?

Definitely Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican, beautiful scenery and steeped in history including Smeaton’s tower. Dartmoor is also very picturesque especially for walking.

WHAT ACTIVITY WOULD YOU TELL THEM TO DO?

Visit the Plymouth gin Distillery and the Marine aquarium.

ANY SPECIAL PLACE YOU WOULD SEND THEM FOR DINNER?

Plymouth Barbican and Royal William yard both have many beautiful restaurants and bars.

FINALLY, PLYMOUTH IS YOUR HOME, WHAT SIGNIFIES HOME TO YOU?

Family and happiness. Living in a beautiful city helps.
